Note: Materials excavated here originated as early as 50,000 years ago. Artifacts from cavedwelling hunters include drills, clubs, and arrowheads made from silex. Ceramics such as bowls, pots and containers have also been found in the caves, and are attributed to early farmers that lived around 5,000 BCE. Copper knives, spears, daggers, and metal jewelry started to appear around 3,000 BCE.
