Note: Named after a nearby tower and bay. Includes a cluster of caves on the edgeo of the Bay of Uluzzo: serra Ciocora, Grotta del Cavallo, Grotta di Uluzzo, and Riparo di Uluzzo. Homonin remains were discovered in the Grotta del Cavallo. Other of the caves contain a relatively advanced stone tool technology, Ulizzian, for which this is the type site.
