Note: In 1554, Francisco de Ibarra arrives at the Valle de San Juan and in 1563 stations his quarters in Coneto de Comonfort where mining operations increase. Antonio Díaz Navarro is named mayor of Coneto de Comonfort in 1630. By 1824 Coneto forms part of San Juan del Río. In 1938 Coneto de Comonfort was declared a free municipality.
