Note: This is a federally-recognized reservation stewarded by the Kaibab Band of Paiute Indians. The reservation spans 121,000 acres in Kaibab ancestral territory, or present-day Mohave and Coconino Counties, Arizona, adjacent to the Utah-Arizona border. It was first established by an Exective Order of June 11, 1913 and later expanded pursuant to an Executive Order of July 17, 1917. |
