Dutch ..... Een mineraal dat bestaat uit aluminiumsulfaat en waterhoudende basische calciumverbindingen, en dat vaak ontstaat door de reactie van sulfaten met beton of mortel. Vorming van ettringietkristal wekt sulfaatverval op in de matrix van cementpasta. In conservering probeert men ettringiet te verwijderen of het effect van de aanvallen te beperken. |
