Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Windvangers die bestaan uit hoge schachten, die ver boven de daken uitsteken en één grote opening en een diagonaal hellende bovenkant hebben, die gericht is in de richting waar meestal de wind vandaan komt; met name in Egypte, Iran en Pakistan. 
German ..... Windfänger, der aus einem hohen, weit über die Dachlinie hinausragenden Schacht besteht, eine einzige große Öffnung hat und eine diagonal gegen die vorherrschende Windrichtung abfallende Spitze; zu finden insbesondere in Ägypten, im Iran und Pakistan.
