Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Slagwapens met een brede, zware, a-symmetrische kling die haaks op de steel geplaatst is. Kan ook gegooid worden. Gebruik 'bijlen (gereedschap)' voor bijlen voor ander doeleinden, die meestal smallere bladen hebben. 
German ..... Hiebwaffe, bestehend im wesentlichen aus einer relativ schweren, flachen Klinge, die an einem Griff befestigt ist; sie wird für Hieb oder Wurf eingesetzt. Für Äxte, die für andere Zwecke verwendet werden und typischerweise schmalere Klingen besitzen, siehe "Axt (Werkzeug)". 
Spanish ..... Armas cortantes que consisten básicamente en una hoja plana, relativamente pesada fijada a un mango, empuñadas para atacar o lanzarlas. Para hachas usadas con otros propósitos, normalmente de hojas más angostas, use "hacha (herramientas).”
