Note: Refers generally to the style of glazed ceramic ware produced from the 12th century to the end of the 15th century. Early productions include ash-glazed bottles, bowls, dishes and jars with four small handles, similar to those produced in Sanage. In the 13th and 14th centuries, new kilns were built producing new shapes, patterns, iron glazed-wares and utensils for Buddhist rituals. Seto ware produced during the 15th and 16th century was mostly for household use, typically tea ceremony ware.

Additional Notes:
Chinese (traditional) ..... 泛指十二至十五世紀末期生產的釉彩陶瓷器皿風格。早期製品包括灰釉瓶、碗、盤、具四個小把手的罐子,與猿投生產的製品類似。十三與十四世紀時建造新的燒窯,為佛教儀式生產新圖案和形狀的釉彩鐵器。製於十五與十六世紀的瀨戶器皿多半應用於居家,茶道器皿為典型製品。 
Dutch ..... Verwijst in algemene zin naar de stijl van geglazuurd keramiek die vanaf de 12de tot het einde van de 15de eeuw werd geproduceerd. In de vroege fase werden producten vervaardigd als flessen met asglazuur, kommen, borden en potten met vier kleine handvatten, vergelijkbaar met de producten uit Sanage. In de 13de en 14de eeuw ging men nieuwe industriële ovens bouwen waarmee nieuwe vormen, patronen, aardewerk met ijzerglazuur en gereedschappen voor boeddhistische rituelen konden worden vervaardigd. Het in de 15de en 16de eeuw geproduceerde Seto-aardewerk was voornamelijk bestemd voor huishoudelijk gebruik, meestal theeceremonieën. 
Spanish ..... Se refiere generalmente al estilo de los artefactos de cerámica esmaltadas producidas a partir del siglo XII, hasta finales del siglo XV. Las producciones tempranas incluyen las botellas, los tazones, los platos y los tarros esmaltados con cuatro manijas pequeñas, similares a ésas producidas en Sanage. En los siglos XIII y XIV, los hornos nuevos fueron construidos produciendo nuevas formas y artefactos para los rituales budistas. Los artefactos de Seto producidas durante los siglos XV-XVI estaban sobre todo para el uso en casa, y en la ceremonia del té.
