Note: Family of sytles of Chinese porcelain glazed wares from the Qing dynasty onwards that is characterized by a brilliant green enamel, though other colors appear such as iron-red, blue, yellow, and purple. The style influenced European porcelain manufacture. The term was developed by the ceramics historian Albert Jacquemart in the 19th century. |
