Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Pantserstukken van plaatjes voor de linkerhand en -arm die de hand en onderarm beschermen tot aan de elleboog of net daarboven. Ze werden gebruikt van de 15e tot in de 17e eeuw, vooral bij steekspelen. 
Spanish ..... Pieza de la placa de la armadura para el brazo y la mano izquierda; protege la mano y el antebrazo hasta su parte superior o ligeramente más allá del codo. Se utilizó desde el siglo XV hasta el siglo XVII, particularmente en las justas.
