Dutch ..... Benaming die oorspronkelijk werd gebruikt voor planken of openplank-systemen waarop - met name zilveren - kopjes konden worden geplaatst of vertoond. De benaming werd in de Middeleeuwen vaak onderling verwisseld met buffetten en keukenkasten. In het begin van de 15e eeuw werden deuren toegevoegd.Tegenwoordig is het een algemene benaming voor alle vergaarplaatsen die met deuren worden afgesloten en soms zijn ingebouwd. |
Spanish ..... Originalmente tableros o estructuras abiertas de estantes sobre los que tazas, especialmente de plata, podían colocarse para almacenamiento o exhibición, a menudo usadas de forma intercambiable con buffet y tocadores en la Edad Media. Surgidos en el siglo XV, fueron agregadas las puertas. Hoy un término genérico para todos los receptáculos semejantes encerrados por puertas, algunas veces empotrados. |
