Dutch ..... Bepaalde plechtige ceremonies, riten of religieuze handelingen van de instellingen van de christelijke kerk. Voor de diverse christelijke gezindten worden verschillende riten als sacramenten beschouwd. Voorbeelden zijn de zeven sacramenten: doop, communie, vormsel, biecht, ziekenzalving, priesterwijding en huwelijk. In andere tradities worden slechts twee sacramenten erkend: de doop en het avondmaal. |
