Note: Style and culture of a Natchezan Native American tribe from coastal Louisiana, primarily living around the Red River. In the early 1800s, most Avoyelles joined with the Tunica and Biloxi. Today, Avoyel descendants are recognized in the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe.
