| Dutch ..... Een lange bundel van vezels die in het algemeen wordt gebruikt om garen van te spinnen. Een lont ontstaat door kaarden of het kammen van de vezel, die vervolgens in lange stroken paralelle vezels wordt getrokken. Wanneer het lont verder wordt uitgetrokken en een lichte draai krijgt dan wordt het 'voorgaren'. |
