Note: Drums with two membranes, one of which is beaten, the other forming part of the lacing device. They are generally cylindro-conical in shape, with parallel straight sides on the upper part, the remainder taking the form of a truncated cone. They are common in Uganda and adjoining parts of East Africa. |

Chinese (traditional) ..... 有兩面鼓膜的鼓,一面鼓膜用來敲擊演奏,另一面則作為繫帶裝置的一部份。烏干達鼓普遍呈圓錐狀,上半部具有兩個平行直線側邊,其他部份則呈截椎狀;在烏干達及東非相鄰地區相當普及。 |
Dutch ..... Trommen, cilinder-, of kegelvormig, met parallelle, rechte zijden aan de bovenkant, onderkant in de vorm van een afgevlakte kegel, met 2 vellen waarvan het ene wordt aangeslagen en het andere deel uitmaakt van het vetersysteem; Oeganda, omliggende delen van Oost-Afrika. |
German ..... Trommel mit zwei Membranen, von der eine angeschlagen wird und die andere Teil der Verschnürung ist. Das Instrument hat im Allgemeinen eine zylindrisch-konische Form, mit parallelen, geraden Seiten im oberen Teil und nimmt im restlichen Teil die Form eines abgeschnittenen Kegels an. Die Trommel ist verbreitet in Uganda und angrenzenden Teilen von Ostafrika. |
