Note: Refers to the style and period that coincided with the reign of Osman I, a Turkish ruler active in northwest Anatolia at the end of the 13th and beginning of the 14th centuries. His emirate took over the declining rule of the Saljuqs of Anatolia and was based on the concept of religious warfare. Under Osman I, the state expanded rapidly to the west over Byzantine territory in Thrace and the Balkans. Little is documented regarding the art of this period.

Verwijst naar de stijl en periode die samenvielen met de heerschappij van Osman I, een Turkse vorst die actief was in Noordwest-Anatolië aan het eind van de 13de en het begin van de 14de eeuw. Zijn emiraat volgde op de heerschappij van de Sajuqs van Anatolië en religieuze oorlogsvoering vormde hierbij een centraal element. Onder Osman I breidde de staat zich snel naar het westen uit via Byzantijns gebied in Thracië en de Balkan. Er is maar weinig documentatie over de kunst uit deze periode. |
| Spanish ..... Se refiere al estilo y periodo que coinciden con el reinado de Osmán I, un gobernador turco activo en el noroeste de Anatolia a fines del siglo XIII y comienzos del XIV. Su emirato asumió el gobierno decadente de los selyúcida de Anatolia y se fundamentó en el concepto de guerra religiosa. Bajo Osmán I el estado se expandió rápidamente hacia el oeste sobre el territorio bizantino en Tracia y los Balcanes. Poco se ha documentado acerca del arte de este periodo. |
