Note: Calcareous, porous limestone formed by the precipitation of calcium carbonate at the vents of springs and geysers, along streams, or on the bottoms or shores of lakes. It is distinguished from travertine by generally being soft and easily crumbled.

Dutch ..... Vaak kalkhoudend, poreus gesteente gevormd als neerslag van bronnen of stromen. 
Spanish ..... Caliza calcárea porosa formada por la precipitación de carbonato de calcio en las salidas de vertientes y geysers, a lo largo de corrientes de agua o en el fondo u orillas de lagos. Se distingue del travertino por ser en general blanda y fácil de deshacer.
