Note: A predominantly pale green marble with white markings that is quarried near Clifden in County Galway, Ireland. A metamorphosed dolomitic limestone, it is considered to be one of two true marbles native to the British Isles, the other being Iona marble.

Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Een grotendeels lichtgroen marmer met witte markeringen dat wordt gewonnen bij Clifden in County Galway in Ierland. De metamorfe dolomitische kalksteen wordt beschouwd als een van de twee echte marmersoorten van de Britse eilanden. De andere is Iona-marmer. 
Spanish ..... Mármol predominantemente verde pálido con marcas blancas, extraído de canteras cercanas a Clifden, en el condado de Galway, Irlanda. Caliza dolomítica metamórfica, considerado uno de los dos verdaderos mármoles nativos de las Islas Británicas, siendo el otro el mármol Iona.
