Note: Refers to a system of linear perspective in which primary buildings, objects, or figures are depicted parallel to the picture plane. It also refers to perspective systems in which parallel projecting lines do not converge but remain parallel; this system is common in East Asian painting. Use "parallel projection," "axonometric drawings," or a narrower term in the context of architectural drawings.

| Dutch ..... Verwijst naar een systeem voor lineair perspectief waarbij belangrijke gebouwen, voorwerpen of figuren parallel aan het beeldvlak worden weergegeven. Wordt ook gebruikt wanneer parallel weergegeven lijnen niet convergeren, maar gewoon parallel blijven lopen. Dit systeem is gebruikelijk in Oost-Aziatisch schilderwerk.
