Explore contemporary Mexican culture on both sides of la frontera in this daylong Family Festival inspired by the exhibition The Goat's Dance: Photographs by Graciela Iturbide. Enjoy Oaxacan music and dance, hear bilingual folktales, drop by an art-making workshop, and more.

Nueva Antequera
Accompanied by Yatzachi El Bajo Philharmonic Band, Ballet Folklorico Nueva Antequera presents indigenous music and dance representing the seven regions of Oaxaca.

Renowned children's theater company We Tell Stories reinterprets popular Mexican folktales through colorful costumes, wacky wit, and plenty of audience participation.

Construct your own mini museum with Elmira Adamian to commemorate the Getty Center's 10th Anniversary. Using collage techniques, build your own temple to art and culture and fill it with your favorite masterpieces.

Coronas Workshop with Marcus Kuiland-Nazario
Create your own corona (crown) from corn husks and tissue paper inspired by Garciela Iturbide's photo Comadres, Conversación on view in the exhibition The Goat's Dance: Photographs by Graciela Iturbide.

Wall Hanging Workshop with Marianne Sadowski
Create a contemporary wall hanging inspired by traditional Zapotec weavings of the women of Juchitán, Oaxaca.
