The Getty Research Institute continues to grow its collections relating to Latin America, reflecting the significance of Hispanic communities for the Los Angeles region. Recent acquisitions include works by Alfredo Ramos Martínez (Mexican, 1871–1946), Lourdes Grobet (Mexican, 1940–2022), David Lamelas (Argentinian, b. 1946), and correspondence between José Luis Cuevas (Mexican, 1934–2017) and Jorge Camacho (Cuban, 1934–2011).
