New Archive on Islamic Art History
Oleg Grabar Papers, 1898–2009 | Finding Aid
Professor and scholar Oleg Grabar transformed the study of Islamic art history in the United States. This archive includes thousands of Grabar's images, along with notes, archeological reports, unpublished lectures, and other works. It also contains a small amount of material documenting Byzantine art and architecture originally collected by Grabar's father, the noted scholar André Grabar.
