The Getty Museum is currently looking for volunteer docents to conduct weekly gallery tours with K–12 students at the Getty Center and the Getty Villa.

If you have a passion for art and want to share your appreciation with others, you are encouraged to apply! Docents receive extensive training and ongoing behind-the-scenes educational opportunities, along with discounts at the Cafe and Getty Store and an annual recognition event.

Application deadline is this Friday, June 8. Training will take place in July and August 2012.

Admission to the Getty Villa is FREE. A ticket is required. Each general admission ticket allows you to bring up to three children ages 15 and under with you in one car. Parking is $15, but $10 for evening events after 5:00 p.m.
