In this study, ventilator–heater based climate control systems were installed in two historic buildings, each located in hot and humid regions, for full–scale experiments. The systems were controlled based on RH sensors located inside and outside of the buildings. Their environments were monitored—before and after the installation and operation of the climate systems—to evaluate the design effectiveness.
