Note: Roman architect, urban designer and etcher, who collaborated with the printer Giovanni Giacomo de' Rossi and with his son and heir Domenico de' Rossi. The print depicts the catafalque designed by Mattia de' Rossi for the obsequies of Pope Alexander VIII, that were held at St. Peter's on February 7-9, 1691; Binding holes along the left margin; Forms part of the Collection of festival prints, 1530-1887 (Special Collections accn. no.
