Le Gray: Links to Barbizon painters |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Le Gray's strong connection to the Barbizon painters is evident in these paintings by Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot and Narcisse Diaz and a drawing by Théodore Rousseau. Like the Barbizon painters, Le Gray immersed himself in the details of nature. These works by Corot, Diaz, and Rousseau can be seen at the Getty Museum on the Upper Level of the West Pavilion in Gallery W203. |
