Taylor, Paul (American dancer and choreographer, 1930-2018)
|
Note: Dancer and choreographer Taylor's highly diverse style was born in radical experimentalism in the 1950s. He created works that entered the repertory of numerous dance companies, and his own company: the Paul Taylor Dance Company is considered one of the world’s most accomlished troupes. In the 1960s he collaborated with Jasper Johns, Robert Rauschenberg, and John Cage. |
