Note: Performance artist active in Southern California from the 1960s to the 1980s. She worked with theater, monologue, dance, music, and visual elements to address themes of feminism, the natural environment, and animal rights. She moved to Los Angeles in the mid-1950s where she founded the Instant Theater, an underground improvisational troupe, with her husband King Moody. |
