Morpurgo, Nelson (Italian Futurist poet, 1899-1978)
|
Note: Morpurgo was born in Cairo and studied law and jurisprudence in France and Italy. He was a friend of F.T. Marinetti, who wrote the preface to Morpurgo's book of poems, "Il Fuoco delle Piramidi," 1923. Morpurgo founded a local section of Italian Futurism in Egypt, and practiced law in Cairo after 1933. |
