Stoller, Ezra (American architectural photographer, 1915-2004)
|
Note: Born 16 May 1915. Stoller trained as an architect at New York University, New York City, in 1938. While studying, he began to make lantern slides and was asked to photograph architectural models, drawings and sculptures for classes. From the 1940s to the present Stoller has focused on photographing major buildings by the leading architects of "modern architecture", such as the Seagram Building by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Frank Lloyd Wright's Falling Water, and Alvar Aalto's Finnish Pavilion from the 1939 World's Fair. |
