Note: Cunningham began a career as a milliner in the 1950s, but became well-known later as a society and street photographer, particularly his photographs published in the New York Times. In 2009 the city of New York designated him a living landmark. In 2010 a documentary was made about his life: “Bill Cunningham New York.” |
