Raymond, Alexander Gillespie (American cartoonist, 1909-1956)
|
Note: Raymond is best known as the creator of the comic strip characters "Flash Gordon," "Jungle Jim," and "Secret Agent X9." His realistic style and shading techniques were a considerable influence on other comic artists during his lifetime and after his death as well. Raymond was killed in a car accident in 1956. |
