Percier and Fontaine redesigned the Tuileries Palace, Paris, and Saint-Cloud, for the Emperor Napoleon from circa 1801 to 1804. They were named "architectes du gouvernement" by Napoleon in 1801 and "Architectes du Louvre et des Tuileries" in 1804. French architect.
