Note: A French sculptor during the reign of Louis XIV of France, Hurtrelle studied at the 'Académie de France' in Rome from 1673 to 1682. When he returned to France, he spent most of his career working for Louis XIV on building projects such as Versailles and Marly. He often collaborated with Pierre Mazeline. |
