Capa, Cornell (American photojournalist, 1918-2008, born in Hungary)
|
Note: Cornell Capa, younger brother of Robert Capa, worked as a photojournalist for over 30 years, and was founder and director of the International Center for Photography in New York City. He worked for "Life" magazine beginning in 1938, producing over 300 photographic essays. His images of the Russian Orthodox Church and author Boris Pasternak are among his most well known. He gave up photography in 1974. |
