Note: American electronic music composer known for his Silver Apples of the Moon (1967) and The Wild Bull (1968). He co-founded the San Francisco Tape Music Center, where he commissioned Don Buchla to build a modular voltage-controlled synthesizer, which he called the Electric Music Box, constructed based on suggestions by Subotnick and Ramon Sender. |
