Adelman, Robert (American photojournalist, 1930-2016)
|
Note: Adelman, a freelance photographer, is noted for his images documenting U.S. segregation and the civil rights movement in the 1960s. His photographs of protestors were published in the popular press, including Time, Life and The New York Times Magazine. He also befriended pop artists in New York in the mid-1960s, including Warhol, whom he regularly documented in his studio during his initial period of reknown. |
