Note: Vasulka trained as an engineer before studying television and film production at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. He initially worked with film, producing documentaries and industrial films until he began experimenting with video in the late 1960s. He was a Guggenheim fellow in 1979. He co-founded The Kitchen in 1971 with Steina Vasulka. |
