Note: Born 7 April 1950. From 1968 to 1972, Folberg studied photography at the University of California at Berkeley. In 1969, Folberg travelled to Yugoslavia. He returned to photograph the Macedonia region in 1971. From 1972 to 1973, Folberg worked as a photographer in San Francisco, California. From 1973 to 1974, he photographed the Habad Hasidic Jewish communities in the United States and Canada. In 1976, Folberg immigrated to Israel where he works as a freelance photographer.
