Note: The Roman province of Aquitaine was divided into three separate provinces in the 4th century CE. Aquitania Prima consisted of the northeastern portion, including the territories which later became Berry, Bourbonnais, Auvergne, Velay, GĂ©vaudan, Rouergue, Albigeois, Quercy and Marche. |
