Note: Biblical town cited as the place where the Ark of the Covenant rested for 20 years as David transported it to Jerusalem (I Chron 13, 5-8). Some scholars hold that a tell located near the modern town of Qiryat Ye'arim is the remains of the biblical town, while others hold that the biblical site of this name is actually the present Abu Ghosh.
