Note: Refers to ancient Greek small, deep bowls that curve in sharply at the shoulder and have a distinct neck with overhanging lip and round bottom designed so the bowl could sit on a stand, although some had feet. A lebes may be equipped with a pair of upright handles at the shoulder and often with a domed cover topped by a tall, stemmed handle. Bronze lebetes were used for cooking and those made of terracotta were used for mixing wine. They are distinguished from "dinoi" by their smaller size. Many scholars in the past have used the term to refer to both the dinos and lebes, because they thought that the term dinos referred to a cup.

Chinese (traditional) ..... 指古希臘時代的小型深缽,器身肩部急劇向內彎曲,有獨特的缽頸以及高懸外突的缽嘴,缽底的圓形設計讓其可放置於底座上。小型深缽的肩部有一對高而垂直的把手,通常有一個圓頂形的蓋子,蓋子上方頂著一個高高的柄形把。青銅製的小型深缽用於烹飪,低溫陶製的則用來調酒。小型深缽與「希臘瓶(dinoi)」的區別,在於前者的體積較小。過去許多學者將大型圓底碗和小型深缽統稱為lebetes,因為他們認為「dinos(複數dinoi)」指的是杯具。 
Dutch ..... Verwijst naar Oud-Griekse kleine, diepe schalen die bij de schouder sterk versmallen en een duidelijke hals hebben met een overhangende lip, en een bolle bodem, zodat de schalen op een standaard konden staan. Een lebes is bij de schouder voorzien van twee hoge, staande handvatten en vaak van een bol deksel met een lange steelvormige handgreep. Bronzen lebetes werden gebruikt om in te koken en in de terracotta exemplaren werd wijn gemengd. Ze onderscheiden zich van ‘dinoi’ door hun kleinere afmetingen. In het verleden gebruikten veel wetenschappers de term om te verwijzen naar zowel de dinos als de lebes, omdat zij meenden dat de term ‘dinos’ verwees naar een drinkkom. 
German ..... Bezieht sich auf eine antike griechische kleine, tiefe Schüssel, die an der Schulter scharf gekrümmt ist und einen ausgeprägten Hals mit überhängender Lippe und einem runden Fuß besitzt, derart gestaltet, dass die Schüssel auf einen Ständer gestellt werden konnte. Ein Lebes ist mit einem Paar von hohen aufrechten Henkeln an der Schulter und oft mit einem gewölbten Deckel mit einem großen gestielten Griff versehen. Ein Lebes aus Bronze wurde zum Kochen und der aus Terrakotta zum Weinmischen genutzt. Im Unterschied zu einem Dinos ist er kleiner. Viele Wissenschaftler haben in der Vergangenheit diesen Begriff für Beide, Dinos und Lebes, benutzt, weil sie dachten, dass sich der Begriff Dinos auf eine Tasse bezieht. 
Spanish ..... Refiérase a pequeños bols hondos de la Antigua Grecia que se curvan hacia adentro abruptamente en el hombro y tienen un cuello definido con una boca sobresaliente y una base redonda diseñada para que el bol pudiera colocarse sobre un pedestal. El lebes está equipado con un par de asas altas y verticales en el hombro y a menudo con una tapa de cúpula coronada por un asa alta en un pie. Los lebetes de bronce eran usados para cocinar y aquellos hechos de terracota para mezclar vinos. Se distingue de "dinos" por su tamaño más pequeño. Muchos eruditos en el pasado han usado el término para referirse tanto a los dinos como a los lebes, porque pensaban que el término "dinos" se refería a una taza.
