Note: Breed of domestic cat that originated in Thailand. It is characterized by a long body and tail, wedge-shaped head and slightly slanted blue eyes. Siamese are typically white or buff colored on the body with darker "points" on the tail, head, and feet, which may be dark brown (seal point), blue gray (blue point), milk-chocolate brown (chocolate point), pinkish gray (lilac point), or reddish orange (red point). The color and coat pattern are genetically recessive characteristics.

| Dutch ..... Ras van huiskat afkomstig uit Thailand. De kat wordt gekenmerkt door een lang lichaam en staart, wigvormige kop en blauwe ogen. Siamese katten hebben typisch een witte vacht met donkerdere "points" op de staart, de kop en de poten, die donkerbruin (seal point), blauw (blue point), chocoladebruin (chocolate point), lila (lilac point), of rood (red point) kunnen zijn. De kleur en het vachtpatroon zijn genetisch recessieve kenmerken. |
