Chinese (traditional) ..... 非洲的佩帶劍,具有長形的鐵製劍刃,象徵貝南統治者的權力。傳統上通常是在公共場合中,由伴隨歐巴(oba,即國王)或其他特定首領的持劍者所攜帶。在歷史上,它們也曾用來做為劊子手的劍。 |
Dutch ..... Afrikaanse draagzwaarden met lange stalen klingen, die de macht van de heersers van Benin symboliseren; traditioneel wordt er bij openbare gelegenheden een gedragen door een zwaarddrager die de oba (koning) en soms bepaalde stamhoofden vergezelt. In het verleden werden zij ook gebruikt als executiezwaarden. |
Spanish ..... Espadas africanas del cojinete con las láminas largas del hierro, simbolizando la energía de las reglas de Benín; uno tiene tradicionalmente sido ocasiones públicas continuadas por un swordbearer que acompaña el oba, o rey, y a veces otros ciertos jefes señalados. También los utilizaron históricamente como espadas del verdugo. |
