| Chinese (traditional) ..... 將字體之間的距離，調整得比一般或自動配置時近。為了視覺效果，通常會縮減不適宜的字間空隙。若是使用金屬字體，則字體本身會經過裁切，使其間距更為緊密。在照相排版中，則是些微增加退格的距離。 |
| Dutch ..... Handeling waarbij drukletters dichter bij elkaar worden gezet dan gebruikelijk is of automatisch wordt gedaan. Dit wordt gedaan voor het visuele effect, meestal om lelijke lege plekken op te vullen. Bij metalen letters wordt het breedste deel van de letter op maat bijgesneden; bij fotocompositie wordt de spatiëring een heel klein beetje aangepast. |
| Spanish ..... El ajuste del tipo de caracteres; para el efecto visual. El cuerpo del tipo se corta para un ajuste más cercano; mayor uso en la fotocomposición.
