Note: Ceremonial mens' houses with highly symbolic decorative elements that are located in Papua New Guinea. They are used as meeting places for ceremonies, rituals, production workshops for making ritual objects, and sacred housing for ritual objects. Dutch ..... Ceremoniële mannenhuizen in Papoea-Nieuw-Guinea met zeer symbolische decoratieve elementen. Ze worden gebruikt als ontmoetingsplaatsen voor ceremonies, rituelen, ateliers waar rituele objecten worden gemaakt, en als heilige plaats om rituele objecten onder te brengen. Vrouwen en niet-geïnitieerde mannen hadden traditioneel geen toegang tot de haus tambaran. |
