Note: Viscous liquid alcohol with a wide variety of uses, especially as an antifreeze, and as a solvent and emulsifier for synthetic resins and essential oils. It is much like ethylene glycol but is non-toxic.

| Dutch ..... Stroperige vloeibare alcohol met een breed scala aan toepassingen, met name als antivries, en als oplosmiddel en emulgator voor kunsthars en etherische oliën. Het lijkt erg op ethyleenglycol maar is niet giftig. |
