Note: Granular hydrated silica used as a desiccant, often employed in long-term storage of electronics or optical devices such as cameras. It absorbs and releases moisture based on ambient humidity. Rather than a drying agent, it is more accurately a moisture stabilizer.

Afhankelijk van de omgevingstemperatuur kan silicagel vocht opnemen of afgeven. Feitelijk fungeert het niet als droogmiddel maar als vochtstabilisator. |
