| Dutch ..... Te gebruiken voor samengesteld materiaal, bestaande uit afgedankte stukjes leer en een wit hechtmiddel. Dit wordt geperst en gedroogd, waarna het oppervlak wordt geschuurd of geschaafd. Ontwikkeld in het midden van de 20ste eeuw door de Engelse boekbinder Philip Smith. |
| Spanish ..... Úsese para un material compuesto realizado con piezas de retazos de cuero mezcladas con adhesivo blanco, posteriormente presionadas y secadas, con la superficie afeitada o aplanada. Desarrollado a mediados del siglo XX por el encuadernador inglés Philip Smith.
