Note: Argand lamps usually of brass or bronze with one or two burners on arms connected by tubes to a reservoir that feeds fuel to the burners on the bird-fountain principle, often ornamented with prisms hung from rings around the reservoir and burners. The name derives from their common use singly or in sets of three on mantels.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 通常為黃銅或青銅材質的阿爾岡燈，燈懸臂上有一或二個燃燒裝置，藉著輸油管嘴連接儲油槽，運用鳥禽噴泉原理供給燃油。在儲油槽與燃燒裝置周圍的扣環上，通常會吊掛稜柱以作為裝飾。該燈因其擺放位置而得名，經常用於壁爐上，有時單獨出現，有時則三個為一組。 |
| Dutch ..... Argandlampen die meestal van koper of brons zijn met één of twee branders op armen die door buisjes zijn verbonden aan een reservoir van waaruit de brandstof naar de branders wordt gevoerd volgens het @bird-fountain principle. Ze zijn vaak versierd met prisma's die aan ringen rond het reservoir en de branders hangen. De benaming is afkomstig van het gebruik om de lampen alleen of met drie op de schoorsteenmantel te zetten. |

Argandlampe, in der Regel aus Blech oder Bronze gefertigt, mit einem oder zwei Brennern, die durch Röhren mit einem Tank verbunden sind und durch das Prinzip der Vogeltränke mit Brennstoff versorgt werden; häufig mit Glasprismen verziert, die an Ringen um Tank und Brenner hängen. Der Name leitet sich ab von dem verbreiteten Gebrauch auf Kaminsimsen, einzeln oder als Dreier-Set. |

Lámparas Argand normalmente de latón o bronce con uno o dos quemadores sobre brazos conectados por tubos a un depósito que alimenta a los quemadores en base al principio de fuente de pájaro, a menudo decorado con prismas colgantes de anillos alrededor del depósito y quemadores. El nombre deriva de su uso común individualmente o en conjuntos de tres sobre repisas de chimenea. |
